BOETHLING-SHELDON

One of the prettiest home weddings solemnized in this city for some time was the one yesterday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Boethling at five o’clock, when Rev. J. Barker pronounced Fred Boethling, of this city and Miss Florence Sheldon, of Washburn, man and wife.

Henry Boethling acted as best man and gave the bride away, while his wife was bridesmaid.

The groom wore a suit of light gray broadcloth, while the bride wore a dress of white taffeta silk and a long bridal veil. Miss Edna Sheldon played the wedding march.

After the ceremony, the twenty-six guests sat down to as fine a wedding dinner as was ever served in this city. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Boethling were the recipients of many beautiful wedding presents.

They will leave this evening on the Soo for Minneapolis and other eastern points where they will spend about three weeks visiting relatives and friends, after which they will return to this city and Mr. Boethling will again resume his position at the Oakes Mill.

While we are not acquainted with the bride, others have informed us that she is all one could wish. This young couple have a host of friends who wish them a long, happy and prosperous married life. - Oakes Journal.
