Obituary.
Mrs. Phoebe Kraft, who has been very sick for the past few weeks, died yesterday (Thursday, December 1st.)
Mrs. Kraft was born at Syracuse, Ohio, April 6, 1851, and would have been 59 years of age next April, had she lived. She has been suffering from uremia for about a year, which caused her death.
Mrs. Kraft was one of the early pioneers of this state and was a kind and loving mother and a good neighbor. She leaves to mourn, besides a host of friends, three sons and one daughter: Mrs. Mangold of Bethel, Mo., who was here at the time of her mother’s death; Will, of Poplar, Montana; Emmet, of near Wiprud; and John, who lives at home.
Funeral services were held in the M.E. church at Turtle Lake Sunday 10 o’clock a.m. and burial was in St. Olaf’s cemetery, north of town.
