Lorenzo Merry
We are much pained to announce the death of Mr. Lorenzo Merry, father of John, Fred, William and Hiram, which occurred at the farm residence of Mr. O.B. Wing near Washburn, on Saturday last at about 1 P.M., from a severe case of pneumonia. Mr. Merry was 60 years old, and up to within a few moments of his death such a thing as dissolution was not dreamed of. Dr. Smyth was called in attendance but too late to render any service as Mr. Merry breathed his last before the Doctor's arrival. The family have the sympathy of the entire community.

Mrs. Lorenzo Merry
Mrs. Lorenzo Merry departed this life last Saturday and was buried on Tuesday. It is but a few short weeks since Mr. Merry died, and he has been followed so soon by the one who has trod the path of life with him from young manhood to old age. Her surviving relatives have the sympathy of the community.
