Death of H. C. Wilson.
Hiram C. Wilson, one of the well known residents of this county, died Monday morning, May first, after an illness of but a few days.
The deceased was for a number of years a resident of Washburn, and about a year ago he moved to the farm about four miles west and where he resided at the time of his death. His death came with a shock to the community as he was known to be in good health, and without warning was stricken and never regained consciousness. The deceased was about 55 years of age. Some years ago he lived near Coal Harbor and moved from there to the Pacific coast, but not liking it there, he returned to North Dakota settling at Washburn.
The funeral services were held from the late residence of the deceased, Rev. Peterson conducting the same. The remains were interred in the Riverview Cemetery. A large number of friends followed the remains to their last resting place.
The deceased leaves an aged mother, wife, two daughters and two sons, who have the sympathy of the community in this their hour of sorrow.
