Mrs. Louisa Neumann Mrs. L. Neumann, 84, Stanton, Died. Mrs. Louisa Neumann of Stanton, 84, died Sunday afternoon in a Minot Nursing Home. She had been ill about nine months and had been at the Home four months. Born in South Russia April 2, 1870, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Grosz, she was married to Michael Neumann, Nov. 25, 1890 in that country. The couple came to the United States in 1891 and she had lived in Mercer county for 63 years. Mrs. Neumann had been making her home with her children since 1947. The surviving children include: Adolf, Dan and Ben, Stanton; Sam and Mike, Hazen; Mrs. William Rasch, Hazen; Mrs. Jake Neuberger, Stanton; and Mrs. Henry Boyle, Jamestown. Four children preceded her in death. She also leaves 23 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and two brothers, John Grosz and Gotthilf Grosz, Hazen. Services were held today from St. Paul's Lutheran Church in rural Hazen with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. John Kammerer officiated. The Aarthun Funeral Home was in charge.
