SERVICES SUNDAY FOR EDMORE MAN 

Edmore, N.D. — Memorial services will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in the auditorium here for Staff Sergeant Victor C. Anderson, 29 years old, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Anderson, who died September 19 (1944), somewhere in France from wounds sustained in action. 

Sgt. Anderson was born November 23, 1914, at Edmore and was confirmed in St. Hans church by Rev. George Larson in July 1929. He grew to manhood in this community and entered service in March, 1942. He trained in several camps before going overseas. 

He spent two and one-half years in the armed services and left April 15, 1944 for overseas duty, landing in England from where he went to France. 

Sgt. Anderson is survived by his parents; three brothers, Henry and Reynold of Edmore, and Roy of Calvin, N.D., and two sisters, Mrs. Robert Martinson of Derrick, N.D., and Mrs. Clarence Myrick, of Nekoma, N.D.
