JOHNSON, Louis and Grace Edna (ALSPACH) I am looking for information
on the Alspach families that live (lived) in Williams County. My
grandmother was Grace Edna (Alspach) Johnson. She was born on homestead
land near Ray, 11 Jul 1905. She married my grandfather, Louis Johnson,
on Dec 28, 1926. The North Dakota Department of Health has no record of
their marriage. Could anyone tell me if there is a record of their
marriage at the Williams County Clerk's Office? I'd also like any
pictures of the Alspach families homes during the early 1900s. Thank you
deeply and "Aloha" Jim BelEwa Beach, Hawaii 11/4/02 j4w8bell@msn.com

MOSER, Henry Oliver and Rose E. (BURKE)
Looking for BURKE AND MOSER info. My ggrandparents were Henry Oliver
Moser and Rose E. Burke. They were married in Williston N.D. in November
1906. On their marriage license it says they were both residents of
"Ridgelawn" Montana. Can anyone tell me if the marriage records the
county has contain the names of parents of the bride or groom. I am
trying to confirm the names of Rose's parents. I have her death
certificate and it says her father was William Burke and mother was
Nellie McNett. Her mother died when she was little...so not a lot of
info on her mother is available. Her father later remarried and had
other children, Walter and Edna Burke. If anyone knows anything about
the county marriage info, please email me. Thank you Kim Corlis 9/9/02

KNOTT, Elizabeth (LARPENTEUR) Can someone please tell me where I
might find information on a soldier who was stationed at Fort Buford
before 1871. All I know is that my relative, Elizabeth Larpenteur Knott
died there in 1871 (she is buried at the Fort Buford cemetery) and her
husband had been a soldier there. I do not know when they were married
but I assume that it was around 1870 as that is when her father, Charles
Larpenteur, lived there. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much.
