Sam Rabba, a very prominent Bonetraill farmer, died in the hospital in this city
Monday from an attack of appendicitis. Mr. Rabba was a candidate for sheriff
at the past election and is known all over the county. The remains were laid
to rest in the cemetery in this city yesterday afternoon.

I, Elizabeth Gibbs, do hereby respectfully petition the honorable
board of county commissioners of Williams county, North Dakota, for aid as a
county poor and do most respectifully petition and set forth that I was the
first white woman that ever came to Williams county North Dakota, and am 97
years old and have no means of support and all the property I had was lost
in litigation during the last term of the district court. Respectfully
submitted, Elizabeth Gibbs.
Moved by Mr. Borstad that the auditor be
instructed to draw auditor's warrant for $10 per month, payable to Mrs.
Elizabeth Gibbs until ordered stopped.
Motion carried, all present voting
aye.
