Volunteer Opportunities 

• LOOK-UP VOLUNTEER: If you have books or other materials relating to LaMoure County, consider looking up information for other researchers in them.

• TRANSCRIBER: Do you like to type? Consider transcribing (typing verbatim) from books, cemetery records, obituaries and other items to be included on this website.

• SURVEY A CEMETERY: If you live in the county consider transcribing the inscriptions on headstones, grave markers & monuments within a cemetery.  You can also take digital photos of the stones, monuments, cemetery entrance & sign.  Some cemeteries will provide maps and printouts of burials for the cemetery, contact the Sexton or managing organization.  This is a great project for girl/boy scouts, or students.

• TAKE PHOTOS: If you live in the county consider taking digital photos of landmarks & memorials around the county.

• DONATE YOUR FAMILY RECORDS: Have ancestors from LaMoure County, consider sharing photos, military records, and a brief genealogy of them.
