The following photos were submitted by Peni Ramsey (thank you, Peni!)  I found these pictures in my grandmother's photo album. I think they were all taken in 1915. Her parents, George and Wilhemina Walter, owned a farm in Wano Prairie. Grandma always called it the Wano Prairie Farm.  Harvesting wheat     Threshing Wano Prairie     Wano Prairie wheat

The following photo was submitted by Carol Hirabayashi (thank you, Carol!)  Photo of the three oldest Fenstad daughters - Left to right: Inga, Emma, Mable  (Read the substitute birth record by Knute Fenstad)  Knute was a younger brother of Blackloam homesteader Christan Fenstad and a brother of Johanne, Kjersten and Anna who married three Haarsager brothers, Ole, Andreas/Andrew and Elias. After Christan's death, Knute took over Christan's homestead and married Christan's widow, Dina.

This is a birdseye view of Marion, North Dakota, about 1920, where John Knudsen was one of the first citizens after he came from Denmark.  This is a picture of John Knudsen, one of the first settlers in Marion, North Dakota coming from Denmark.
