Jamestown Weekly 1893 Aug 24Kenneth Wishart, son of Alex Wishart, who resides on Stump lake, about one and a half miles west of Wamduska, captured a white crow in the grove near Mr. Wishart's hous. THere were three other crows - two black and one gray.

Miss Mathilda Wall, former instructor at Sterling, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Wall of Bottineau, and Roy Knudtson of Aneta spoke their nuptial vows at high noon Tuesday, June 16, before a candle-lit alter in the Turtle Mounatin Lutheran church of Carbury. Baskets of peonies decorated the alter.
The bride, escorted by her father, wore a white tailored suit with white accessories and a corsage of lilies-of-the-valley and had as her attendants her sister, Mrs. Clara Paulsen, as matron of honor, and Miss Lucille Knudtson, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Gudrun Kornkven, as bridesmaids. They wore dresses of pastel silk crepe and corsages of Talisman roses.
Attendants for the bridegroom were Clifford Wall as best man and John and Alfred Wall as ushers. The Misses Stella and Velma Dyrstad, of Sterling, nieces of the bride, provided the musical setting for the ceremony, which was read by Rev. P. N. Oklevik in the presence of only immediate relatives and a few intimate friends.
A reception at the bride's family home near the church followed the ceremony. The out-of-town guests included the braidegroom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Knudtson of Aneta, Miss Tina Lee of Devils Lake, Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Dyrstad of Sterling and Robert Wall of Nash.
Mr. and Mrs. Knudtson left late in the afternoon by motor for Montana points and Yellowstone National park and will be at home after July 15 at Aneta, where the bridegroom is associated with his father in the mercantile business.
Mrs. Knudtson taught in the public school at Aneta for the last five years, prior to which she taught at Sterling.
Aneta Man Dies in Hospital at Forks
Grand Forks, N. D., Dec. 16. - Peter Eugene Schley, 59, of Aneta, N. D., died Tuesday in a hospital here. He had been a patient for four months.
Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Evelyn of Aneta and Mrs. E. G. Christ of New Rockford, and seven sons, Floyd of Carrington, Winfield and Lester of McVille, and Gail, James, Stanley and Bruce of Aneta, and two sisters at Jamestown.
The body was taken to Jamestown where funeral services will be Frideay in the Catholic church. Mr. Schley was born August 13, 1878.
