Porter Kimball family of Steele County, North Dakota: Eva (Merritt) Kimball, Eva Kimball, Grace Kimball, and Porter Kimball. Porter Kimball was a wealthy farmer and businessman. He was a prominent member of the Nonpartisan League (NPL). He also served one term in the North Dakota House of Representatives (1917-1918). --Digital Horizons
